The basics

Do I need experience to take part?+

No. HYFIT Games is built for every body, ages 8 to 84, with divisions so you compete at a level that suits your fitness. The Open categories are accessible for most people with general fitness. Every station scales, and you finish at your own pace.

What actually happens in the race?+

Six functional stations (dumbbell step-ups, farmer's carry, bear crawl, burpees to plate, front carry plus air squats, tyre flips), a cognitive challenge at the start and finish, and a 200m run before every station. It tests mind and movement together.

Is it indoors?+

Yes. The whole race runs in a fully air-conditioned indoor venue, so heat and weather are never a factor.

Is the venue air-conditioned?+

Yes. Every HYFIT Games venue is fully air-conditioned, so you race in comfort no matter how hot it is outside.

Where will the next HYFIT Games take place?+

Bangalore on 15 to 16 August 2026, Mumbai on 22 to 23 August 2026, and Pune on 12 to 13 September 2026. More cities are announced through the year.

Categories & divisions

What categories are available at HYFIT Games?+

Individuals: NextGen (youth, 8 to 15, Boys and Girls), Open (Male and Female), Pro (Male and Female), and Grand Masters (55 to 84, Male and Female). Doubles: Bloodline (a kid 8 to 15 paired with a parent), Male Doubles, Female Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

What is the NextGen category?+

NextGen is the youth division, designed for younger athletes aged 8 to 15. Workouts are modified so they are safe, fun, and age-appropriate.

What are the age groups for NextGen?+

8 to 9, 10 to 11, 12 to 13, and 14 to 15.

What is the Grand Masters category?+

Grand Masters is for senior athletes aged 55 and above. It celebrates longevity in fitness, with the race format adapted where needed for a competitive yet safe experience.

What are the age groups for adults (Individuals and Doubles)?+

16 to 24, 25 to 34, 35 to 44, 45 to 54, 55 to 64, 65 to 74, and 75 to 84.

What are Bloodline Doubles?+

Bloodline Doubles is a parent and child category where one teammate is a kid (NextGen age, 8 to 15) and the other is a parent. It is our most-loved category.

How is my age group calculated?+

Age groups are based on your age as on the event date.

What is the minimum age to participate?+

The minimum age is 8. Participants under 16 compete in the NextGen division.

What is the difference between Open and Pro categories?+

Open is for participants with general fitness, with loads and difficulty scaled to keep the race accessible. Pro is for more experienced athletes, with higher intensity, heavier loads, and a more competitive environment.

Doubles

How does the Doubles category work?+

Two participants complete the race together and share the workout stations. Teammates can divide the repetitions between them unless the race briefing says otherwise.

What Doubles categories are available?+

Male Doubles, Female Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Bloodline Doubles.

Do both teammates need to complete the running segments?+

Yes. Both athletes must complete every running segment.

How is the age group calculated in the Doubles category?+

It is based on the average age of both teammates as on the event date.

Will weights, distance or reps differ for men and women in Mixed Doubles?+

No. Both participants compete with identical weights, distances, and reps.

What happens if my partner cannot attend the race?+

If your partner cannot attend, contact the HYFIT Games team to update your partner details before the event.

How much does it cost?+

From Rs 1,399, depending on category. NextGen and Bloodline start lowest; Open and Pro sit higher. Exact pricing per city shows when you find your race.

How do I register for HYFIT Games?+

Register right here on the site. Pick your city under Find Your Race, choose your category, and check out.

What does the registration include?+

Race entry, a finisher medal, and access to the event experience. Exact inclusions are shown when you pick your ticket.

Are registrations refundable or transferable?+

No. HYFIT Games registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Race day

What should I bring on race day?+

A valid ID, appropriate training gear, running shoes, and hydration. Further event details are shared closer to race day.

What should I wear for HYFIT Games?+

Comfortable training apparel suitable for running and functional workouts. Proper running shoes are strongly recommended.

Can spectators attend the event?+

Yes. Friends and family are welcome to attend and cheer you on.

Will the race be timed?+

Yes. Every race is timed to track performance and rankings.

Will results be published?+

Yes. Official results are published after the event.

Are there podium awards?+

Yes. Top finishers in each category earn podium recognition. Award categories are announced closer to the event.

Rules & safety

Is there a rulebook for HYFIT Games?+

Yes. A detailed rulebook is shared with participants before the event, covering workout standards, race flow, and competition guidelines.

Is medical support available at the event?+

Yes. Medical and first aid teams are present throughout to keep participants safe.

What if I cannot complete the race?+

You can stop at any point if you feel unable to continue. Event staff are on hand to help if needed.
